Long before her appearance in Hustle & Flow, Jennifer found her church offered a welcoming venue for her dynamic voice. Living in Northern California, Jennifer sang constantly, until departing to study voice at the University of Colorado (Boulder) Jennifer later studied at the Cornish Institute of Music in Seattle, Washington.
Over the years, Jennifer studied privately with soprano Olivia Sapp and she participated in master classes with Martin Katz. Jennifer has also appeared in concert with Frederica von Stade.
Jennifer established herself as an accomplished soloist, and the purity of her voice has drawn the attention of opera companies and symphony orchestras around the world.
Jennifer is a talented Composer, and has also formed a Christian musical group.
Currently residing in the state of Tennessee, Jennifer continues to travel, sharing her vocal talents with audiences around the world.
